I turn 44 tomorrow. I was hoping that my birthday present to myself would be to have my gallery renovation 99% complete. This would allow me to focus on painting paintings for the last 4 weeks before the grand opening show. But alas, it was not to be. I decided the powder room needed major work, the fireplace needed to be ripped out and re-worked and a wall was needed between the kitchen and the rest of the gallery (primarily because the kitchen is somewhat small and homely and destroys the gallery mood when you can see directly into it from the adjoining room). So, yeah, that kind of stuff tends to lengthen projects. It will all be worth it though!

Gallery in progress--Nancy Light-Johnson's Masterpeice

This painting is my new favorite by the very talented Nancy Light-Johnson, aka my mom.
This painting will be on display at the opening group show, March 28 at 7 pm. You will want to see this in person!
